Mitra Rahbar is an intuitive, spiritual teacher, singer, songwriter, writer and ordained minister. Mitra began this journey very early in life in Iran. During her years as a social worker her following grew more and more and she started teaching classes ie,purification; Mitra also started her own ministry by conducting blessing ceremonies and speaking at weddings, funerals, and other occassions. Her music is a reflection of her belief in peace and universal light. Up to date Mitra has released three music CD's and one inspirational spoken word album. Mitra has been active in promoting peace and awareness specifically for women and children of the middle-east. Mitra has spoken and sung at the United Nations, UCLA, Agape, and for Nobel Prize Recipient Shirin Ebadi, and Presidential Candidate Dennis Kucinich. Mitra has recieved an award from the Mayor's office for her conscientious efforts in the Arts, as well as recieving an LA Music Award for her song Nirvana.
